BRIEF UPDATE ON SAFETY & TRAINING A lot has been happening lately on the Safety & Training side of things. As of today, Contract Services is no longer funding our Skills Training program for the duration of the crisis and the IATSE Training Trust has stepped in to fill the void so we can keep offering classes. My committee from the International (ICAP) developed guidance documents for safely returning to work which were just approved by International President Loeb. The Motion Picture/Television Industry Wide Labor-Management Safety Committee has established several Working Groups with the goal to create a unified plan for us to return to work as soon and as safely as possible. Patric and I have split the Working Groups to make sure that all of our interests are represented. I can't report on specifics until we have them but once we get a sense of where and how quickly things are going with the Safety Committee, we will schedule an online event. For now, I just want to let everyone know what is going on and that we are working to ensure that our sets, stages, and locations will be safe when we return to them. We will get through this together and we will be stronger, safer, and better skilled on the other side of it. In Solidarity, Alan M.
