Brother Larry Kenneth Freeman, a 53 year member of Local 728 since September 9th, 1967, passed away on Sunday December 27th, 2020 at the age of 77. Brother Freeman was a distinguished member of Local 728. Among his many accolades and accomplishments, he was a Local 728 Gold Card holder, a long time District 2 Delegate, a past member of our Executive Board, past Vice-President and President. Even while well into retirement and living in Arizona, Brother Freeman continued to serve the membership as the chair of our merchandising committee for many years, often driving from home to our Local's offices to deliver in person budgets from his committee. Yet first and foremost, Brother Freeman was a friend and mentor to all of us who were privileged to know him. His willingness to give of himself in service to others with cheerfulness, compassion and dedication will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife Janice. Sections Good & Welfare
