Brother Richmond "Aggie" Aguilar passed away on Saturday, February 12th 2022 at the age of 90. Aggie joined Local 728 in November of 1973 and was 48 year member of Local 728. Our brother had a long and distinguished career as a CLT. Brother Paul Caven wrote this moving tribute to him: "His career spanned over 40 years on show like “Easy Rider”, “Paper Moon”, and “On Golden Pond”. I was Aggie's best boy for 26 years we did over 40 movies together and countless commercials. He was my boss, my mentor, and my friend. I look back with pride on the work we did. He was a highly respected gaffer. We worked with some of the top cinematographers in the industry. He was wonderful to work for. He was warm, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He believed in having a good time at work. He figured people who are laughing, are doing a better job than people who are angry. So, we laughed a lot. I will miss him greatly. I will miss the phone calls full of laughter and reminiscing. He’s in a better place now. “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.” He took lots of love with him. Goodbye Aggie, I will see you on the other side." Sections Good & Welfare
