The AFL-CIO has an urgent message to all union members across the United States.

They are urging us to stand together, call our Senators to demand passage of the HEROES act, which was passed in the House three months ago!

The request from te AFL-CIO is as follows:

Senator Mitch McConnell’s proposal does NOTHING for America’s workers.

In fact, it offers: 

$0 for the Postal Service

$0 for state and local governments

$0 for hazard pay

$0 for nutrition assistance

$0 for the uninsured/underinsured

We have a plan that we can be proud of. It’s called the HEROES Act. 

It has been on Mitch McConnell’s desk for 80 days.

It passed the House 80 days ago and is ready for passage.

Will you call your U.S. senators now and urge them to pass the HEROES Act?

We need real solutions to real problems, not more bailouts for big corporations and tax write-offs for three-martini lunches. Union members and their families across the country are hurting.
