Brother Chris Lanieri (affectionately known as "Goombah") passed away at the age of 88 on January 5th, 2022.
He was a 61-year member of Local 728.

Brother Lanieri was a Korean War veteran who served on the front lines during that conflict.
Upon returning home, he made his way into the filmed entertainment industry and Local 728, becoming a sworn member in 1960. He retired from the industry in 2002 in his late 70's.
In retirement, Chris rarely if ever missed an opportunity to regale all in attendance with his stories at Local 728 retiree luncheons.
For those of us who were blessed to have worked with him and enjoyed his cheerful and bright spirit, we walked away a bit richer from the experience of having known him.
