On Saturday, November 18, we invite you to join us and Jon Huertas, Star of the hit TV show This is US, Veteran, and SAG-AFTRA National Board Member as we walk to end homelessness in the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ 11th Annual HomeWalk 5K run/walk. We are entering a labor team of union sisters and brothers called “Homeless Heroes.”
Labor’s “Homeless Heroes” is the only team dedicated to raising funds to help homeless veterans into permanent housing. The team is comprised of more than 40 unions, over 300 walkers and raises on average of $15,000 a year, of which 100% goes towards ending veteran homelessness.
