Next week, unions, employers, industry associations, community-based organizations, workforce development partners, education providers, and government leaders across the nation will be hosting events to showcase the successes and value of registered apprenticeship programs.

And of course, Washington state will be joining in this nationwide celebration.

IATSE Executive Board endorses President Joe Biden's reelection bid

On April 25th, 2023, IATSE’s General Executive Board voted unanimously to extend its endorsement to President Joe Biden upon the announcement of his 2024 reelection campaign for President of the United States. In 2020, President Biden pledged to be the most pro-union president since Franklin D. Roosevelt. In the opinion of the General Executive Board, he has fulfilled that promise time and again since taking office.
