Image Art-Net is a protocol for transmitting DMX512-A with RDM (Remote Device Management) over TCP/IP. Art-Net compatible consoles and lights are finding their way on our sets and stages. Art-Net has become the industry standard protocol for using ethernet for lighting control and is royalty free. Art-Net can transmit or receive lighting data, as well as provide management functions such as remote patching, detecting available nodes, updating their control parameters, or transmitting timecode. Art-Net has more sophisticated functions including router-like subscription to increase network speed and bandwidth and the ability to transmit lighting console screens to remote locations such as your dimmer room. This technology can increase efficiency on set and provide a better interface to manage and troubleshoot your system. Skills Taught Training Category DMX & Network Protocols
