Taking care of your health and body is the single most important thing you can do for a successful life and career. If you are experiencing chronic pain or injury, this is something you cannot put off any longer. Thinking ahead, developing healthy habits and avoiding chronic & repetitive injury should be thought of as retirement planning as poor habits now will drastically affect your ability to do the things you enjoy once you retire. I consider this one of the most important events we offer and we are pleased to have doctors joining us for this seminar that can dramatically improve your ability to enjoy life: Dr Jason Pimentel, DC. CCSP will be leading the discussion on proper posture and how to avoid long term injury from simple daily tasks such as lifting equipment, pushing a cart, or working at a computer. We will also discuss the importance of good sleeping habits and how to form them. Dr David Abri, DDS will be with us to discuss the often overlooked warning signs & treatment for periodontal illness. Kidney and liver diseases have been linked to poor dental health and if you cannot properly chew your food, you can develop digestion problems which will limit your ability to get the nutrition that you need. This seminar will be held at IATSE Local 728. The address is 1001 W. Magnolia Blvd in Burbank. The seminar will begin at 7:00PM and last approximately 2 hours. Parking is available in the back of the building and on the nearby streets. This seminar is open to members of all unions as well as their families and friends.
