Image Local 728 members are invited to attend the Elation Professional Workshop featuring the Proteus IP65 fixtures, the ecosystems of KL and Fuze series fixtures, as well as their control line of Onyx and Netron products. This class is intended for CLTs, ACLTs, CRTs, Programmers, and anyone who wants to work with moving lights, particularly those rated for use with rain and water effects. What does IP65 mean?An IP (Ingress Protection) rating is a standard set by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) that defines the degree of protection provided by an electrical enclosure against foreign objects (such as dust) and water. An IP65 rating indicates that a lighting fixture is dust-tight (6) and protected against water jets (5). More specifically, the "6" in IP65 means that the fixture is completely dust-tight, which means that it is fully protected against dust and other small particles. The "5" indicates that the fixture is protected against water jets from any direction, meaning it can withstand being exposed to water projected by a nozzle. Therefore, a lighting fixture with an IP65 rating is ideal for outdoor environments where it may be exposed to dust, rain, or other elements. It can be used in wet or damp locations, such as in a garden or on the outside of a building, without the risk of damage to the fixture or the electrical components inside. Some of the topics included in the Workshop include:—Introduction—— Instructor / Class intros—— Quick rundown about Elation professional—— Overview about the history of moving head technology—— Moving heads for camera—IP65 Fixtures——What do the IP ratings mean——What are the advantages of IP65 fixtures——Run down of Elation IP65 Fixtures——How to open and test IP65 integrity on fixtures—Additive Color Mixing in a moving head——Additive LED technology allowing for high TLCI moving head fixtures.———Fuze Max Profile———Fuze Wash 500——Additive LED technology in static fixtures——— KL Profile FC——— KL Fresnel 8 FC——Netron and Onyx Control Series—Hands on time with fixtures Skills Taught LightingChief Lighting TechnicianChief Rigging Technician Training Category Other
