Programming and Networking Workflow (2 Day Class)

It used to be that lighting a set was all about manual focus and making adjustments using gels and scrim. Today, it’s increasingly about building a control network and programming a console. Regardless of which lighting console you prefer, the approach is the same—patch your fixtures, create groups, palettes, and focus positions, record cues, assign them to executors, and play them back. This class takes a structured approach to the programming workflow including setup and troubleshooting and applies to any and all lighting control systems. Besides programming workflow, topics include Ethernet, Art-Net, and sACN. We have a limited number of controllers. If you have a Windows PC, please plan on bringing it to class and load MA Lighting grandMA2 OnPC and grandMA 3D Visualizer software.
