UWL Class

Class Description:

Are you passionate about SCUBA diving and interested in working as an Underwater Lighting Technician?

Local 728 is gauging interest in offering Underwater Lighting classes this fall. These CSATTF-funded courses will provide specialized training that goes far beyond recreational dive training, focusing on advanced techniques in precision propulsion, maneuvering, and buoyancy, as well as hands-on experience with alternate dive gear configurations and underwater lighting equipment. Many of these skills are used in technical and cave diving; Local 728 doesn't mess around when it comes to working underwater.

**A few, but not all, prerequisites for these classes:**

- You must be a certified and recently experienced diver.

- Ensure you are up-to-date with all CSATF Roster Requirements.

- Commitment to the class may require turning down work.

Even if you never work as a diver, this training will enhance your skills and make your dives more enjoyable. If you're interested in attending, please sign up on our website to receive more information.
