The NLRB is expected to be counting the ballots in the Harvard grad worker union election Tuesday. The vote was held last week.
The votes haven't been counted yet due to ballot challenges. Counting resumes Tuesday to see if grad student workers will win the effort to join the UAW.
Gene M. Switzer, the NLRB's General Counsel, says there are roughly 3,500 votes. About a thousand of those were challenged and had to be addressed one by one.
