Cashiers and cooks led protests in more than two dozen cities Wednesday against fast food CEO Andy Puzder's nomination as U.S. Secretary of Labor.
The protests at Carl's Jr. and Hardees stores asserted that Puzder represents the worst of the rigged economy Donald Trump pledged to take on as president.
The workers protesting Puzder say if he's Labor Secretary it will mean years of continuing low pay, wage theft, sexual harassment and racial discrimination instead of making the lives of workers better.
