[In Person] IBL - Working with Assimilate and KinoFlo's MIMIK (LOTTERY 10/7)

Image Based Lighting is an emerging and essential part of the Local 728 workflow. Using IBL, Local 728 members create realistic lighting effects that enhance the creativity of a scene in a fraction of the time it would normally take with greater flexibility. This workshop will provide a beginning-to-end introductory to integrating IBL in your professional workflows using the Assimilate Live FX software and KinoFlo's advanced MIMIK lighting fixture.

Assimilate Live FX can work as a stand-alone controller or integrated with a lighting console (preferred method). This workshop is geared towards CLTs, Programmers, and Technicians who want to be on top of this technology. Attendees will receive a 30-day license for the software and sample media

Signups for this class are now open. If necessary, a LOTTERY will be held on Monday, October 7. We plan on doing this class multiple times and will schedule more classes based on interest and demand. There are no pre-requisites for this class other than a desire to understand and utilize this technology on set. You will need to have an understanding of basic programming and data distribution.
