[In Person] Wireless DMX Basics Class (Waitlist is Open)

Wireless DMX networking has become an essential requirement for many professionals due to its constantly evolving technology. A two-part class facilitated by Ratpac Controls will cover the latest advancements in wireless DMX systems, including hardware and software, installation and setup best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. The first session on July 17, 2024, will cover the basics of Wireless DMX and the setup of a single universe. Two weeks later, on Thursday, Aug 1, we will reconvene to delve into the advanced multi-universe setup.

Participants will have hands-on experience setting up systems, including powering fixtures, linking to transmitters, and setting DMX addresses in a real-world scenario. This class is designed for those who are new to wireless lighting control. Wireless lighting control can be a lifesaver in certain situations and can save a significant amount of time for you and your crew. This technology is vital when it's impractical to run a cable across a road, or the cable can't be laid without being in the shot. Effective use of wireless DMX can significantly improve efficiency if utilized correctly.

Bring your own iPad, if you have Blackout App.
